| Player profile |
Hailing from the West Midlands Tom is a combative wide player who was spotted by current club vice-captain Jens Henniker Heaton and signed in November 2009. Left footed he is at home at either left full-back, left wing-back or as a left sided winger, indeed his versatility was one of the major reasons he was brought into the club mid-season. Having not played regular 11-a-side football for a number of seasons Tom is looking to adjust to our style of football and get his match sharpness back but has all the main attributes needed to succeed at this level. He is a quick player with great stamina and a good crosser of the ball as well as being very combative. His attributes also make him an ideal candidate for man-marking roles.
Tom left the club at the end of his first season having failed to win a first team place.
