Fred was one of a number of players to join the Club during the 2008-09 pre-season, with Sporting Hinton being his first senior Club. Fred has played colts football locally for a number of years taking up various positions and became known as somewhat of a utility player in his time with Saffron Walden based clubs Spartak 78 & Plantation. He also spent two seasons playing at the excellent youth set-up at Saffron Walden Town FC between 2002 and 2004. Having made the step up to senior football with Hinton in 2008 he found starts hard to come by, although considering his age did well to make 6 appearances in his first season. For 2009-10 Fred will be working with the Reserves Team in order to gain some more playing time.
Fred left the Club in January 2010 having failed to win a regular place in the matchday squads.
