Stephen has been in and around the squad since the club was formed back in 2006 but his appearances have been limited due to various commitments outside of football. An experienced defender who has played for a number of clubs including Great Chestertford and Sawston United locally he is strong in the tackle and a great communicator at the back. He is most at home playing as a sweeping centre-back but can also fill in at right-back. As an older member of the squad he is able to offer invaluable advice to the younger members of the Hinton squad. A centre-forward in his younger days, he still retains excellent pace for a player in his late thirties as well as a keen eye for goal when forward for set pieces.
